Daffodils

My mom made this card around Easter. I love the colors and the way the yellow daffodils are popped up. Good job mom! The background is embossed with a cuttlebug embossing folder using the Big Shot.

Vintage Travel card

I created this card recently for a swap. The Top Note die from Stampin' Up is one of my favorte tools I've ever had. Stippling was done with a stipple brush using Chocolate Chip ink. The travel stamp set is from the SU Summer Mini as well as the background florish, which is from the beautiful Elements of Style set. I think I'll probably use this basic design to make the cover for a travel journal for my trip this fall to Italy & France. My mom made one and gave it to a friend going on a cruise.

From the Heart

I'm pretty sure I got the idea for this card from someone else...I just can't remember where. If someone has seen it before, please let me know so I can give credit where its due. :) The Razzleberry Lemonade DSP is my favorite this year from Stampin' Up!

Betty Nobles cards

These are two of the other cards that were done using mine as a base idea. They each have a little bling added. :)

Life is a Matter of Moments card

I made this card after seeing a number of cards leaving the flower stamp as a simple B&W image. I wanted something very simple for my workshop yesterday. The ladies at my workshop take it a step further. I'll post their cards as well.

Between Two Moments

I've been having a heck of time getting a blog set up because my google account did not synch right with my phone. So this is a new google account and a new blog! :)
